The 10bet Lions are set to welcome back their star winger Erich Cronje for their Investec Champions Cup opener against La Rochelle in France on Saturday.
Cronje missed out on the big loss against the Bulls, and the Lions were particularly vulnerable on his wing as the Bulls ran in nine ties.
Cronje has been the form player for the Lions over the past few weeks, and his return will certainly be welcomed.
He was named in the 30-man squad that will make the trip to France and thereafter continue for two away games against top-of-the-table Edinburgh and Glasgow Warriors before the November break.
Also returning are midfielder Bronson Mills, who has just returned from injury, and big lock Etienne Oosthuizen, who also missed out on the Bulls game.
The Lions will also have their three Springboks, Boan Venter, Morne van den Berg and Quan Horn, available for the three-week tour.
But missing out will be prop Sebastian Lombard, who sustained an ankle injury against the Bulls this past weekend and won’t make the trip.
