Cadillac appointed Marcin Budkowski as their new team principal on Wednesday, replacing Graeme Lowdon midway through their first Formula One season.
The American team joined the grid in 2026 having been put together from scratch under Lowdon's stewardship, with the experienced duo of Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez as drivers.
Cadillac are bottom of the constructors' standings, with the team yet to secure a single point this season.
Budkowski, a former technical director of Alpine and sporting co-ordinator for the FIA, the sport's governing body, brings over 20 years of F1 experience to the Silverstone-based team.
Dan Towriss, Cadillac chief executive, said on Wednesday: "From the beginning, our goal has not been simply to participate in Formula One, but to build a next-generation team capable of competing at the very front.
