Kevin Vallejos will look to extend his winning streak when he faces Josh Emmett in the featherweight main event of a UFC Fight Night, set for the Meta Apex in Las Vegas on the morning of Sunday 15 March. Main card is scheduled to begin at 2am CAT.
Vallejos (17-1, 11 KO) has put together a six-match winning run, most recently defeating Giga Chikadze via second-round KO at a Fight Night in December 2025, to rise to number 14 in the division rankings.
The 24-year-old Argentine, nicknamed “El Chino”, is delighted to have further opportunities to express his talent.
“I'm truly blessed, blessed by God for these opportunities," he explained. "Sometimes I don't understand what they see in me to give me all these opportunities. Right now, I'm very happy, very grateful to all the people that have given me help and support, and very grateful for the UFC.”
Emmett (19-6, 7 KO) has struggled for form in recent years, suffering four defeats from his last five trips to the Octagon. The 41-year-old veteran was most recently in action at UFC 320 in October 2025, suffering a first-round submission loss at the hands of Youssef Zalal.
The rest of the main card features Amanda Lemos v Gillian Robertson in the women’s strawweight co-main event; two featherweight fights pitting Andre Fili against Jose Miguel Delgado, and Marwan Rahiki against Harry Hardwick; a light heavyweight battle between Ion Cutelaba and Oumar Sy; as well as Vitor Petrino v Steven Asplund in the heavyweight division.
