In a thrilling showdown at UJ Stadium on Saturday, Orlando Pirates rallied from a goal down to secure a 2-1 victory over AmaZulu in the DStv Diski Challenge clash, further solidifying their dominance at the top of the table.

The triumph maintains Pirates’ six-point lead at the summit of the DDC standings.
Thuto Sesipi and Joy Manana delivered the decisive blows for the Buccaneers, while Thandanani Mhlongo initially put AmaZulu ahead in the 81st minute.
However, Pirates responded in dramatic fashion, equalising in the 91st minute through Sesipi before Manana clinched the win in the 98th minute.
With this victory, Pirates solidify their position at the top of the log with 66 points from 27 matches, sitting six points clear of second-placed Mamelodi Sundowns.
Coach Roscoe Krieling’s side will next travel to Seshego Stadium to face Magesi FC.
Polokwane City 1-5 Kaizer Chiefs
Kaizer Chiefs returned to form in resounding fashion, demolishing Polokwane City 5-1 on Sunday morning.
The Soweto giants established an impressive three-goal cushion by halftime, courtesy of a brace from Naledi Hlongwane and a solitary strike from the emerging standout, Steven Mendes.
Chiefs maintained their momentum in the second half, adding two more to their tally through Neo Bohloko and a stunning header from Mpho Khethang.
Mamelodi Sundowns 3-2 Chippa United
In a tightly contested match at Tuks Stadium, Kutlwano Letlhaku emerged as the hero for Sundowns, guiding his team to a 3-2 victory over a resilient Chippa United.
Sundowns headed into halftime with a comfortable 2-0 lead, thanks to goals from Bennet Mokoena and Ntokozo Siquba.
However, Chippa mounted a spirited comeback that saw them level the match. Just when it seemed the game would end in a draw, Letlhaku delivered the decisive goal in the 85th minute, ensuring maximum points for Sundowns and keeping their title hopes alive.
This victory leaves Sundowns in second place on the log with 60 points from 26 matches, six points adrift of Pirates, who have played one more match.
On Tuesday, Sundowns will have the opportunity to narrow the gap to three points when they face Polokwane City at Old Peter Mokaba Stadium at 10am.
