Stellenbosch head coach Steve Barker will be hoping their new-found belief can carry them forward ahead of a tricky CAF Confederation Cup tie against Singida Black Stars at the Amaan Stadium on November 30.
Kick-off is at 6pm CAT (SA, GMT+2)
Current form:
The Maroons have struggled for goals this season, which has impacted their consistency as they've yet to register back-to-back wins in the Betway Premiership.
Barker's side have already lost nine games in all competitions and they conceded eight goals without scoring in three successive defeats against Marumo Gallants (4-0), TS Galaxy (2-0) and Siwelele (2-0) recently.
There's continental football to look forward to this weekend 🔜

However, there were positive signs in their last two matches as Stellies scored injury-time winners against AS Otoho in the Confederation Cup and Orbit College in the league to boost morale in the team.
The Cape Winelands outfit found themselves trailing 1-0 to Pogiso Makhoye's side and a man down with 10 minutes left to play in midweek before Thato Khiba equalised in the 89th minute and Athenkosi Mcaba completed the comeback win in stoppage time.
Black Stars kicked off their campaign in style after winning the CECAFA Club Cup and going unbeaten in their opening seven games across all competitions.
But that impressive run came to an end with a 2-0 loss to CR Belouizdad last weekend which marked their debut in the group stages after qualifying for the Confederation Cup for the first time this term.
What was said:
Stellenbosch head coach Steve Barker
"Once again, the team showed a never-say-die attitude and great resilience. They just kept plugging away, and I knew that if we could get one goal, then we could possibly get the second, but we did leave it late as we did in our last match (against AS Otoho).
"Hopefully, that can give us confidence that we're never out of the game and that if we keep pushing hard and never giving up, anything is possible.
"The hope is that these two wins can give us the trust and belief in what we are doing, and that we can just continue improving going forward."
Players to watch:
Singida Black Stars - Clatous Chama already has two goals in the Confederation Cup after scoring in both legs of the second-round tie against Flambeau du Centre. The 34-year-old attacking midfielder has featured every minute of Black Stars' five continental outings and will look to provide the attacking impetus against Stellies.
Stellenbosch - Thato Khiba played a crucial role for the Maroons against AS Otoho and Orbit College after coming off the bench in both matches. The 29-year-old midfielder provided the assist for Ashley Cupido's last-gasp winner in the Confederation Cup last weekend before kickstarting the comeback with the equaliser in the league three days later.
