Welcome to our live and interactive coverage of the 2017 Formula One season.

Today the action is coming to us from Silverstone, where the battle for control of the drivers’ championship between Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel continues at the British Grand Prix.

Hamilton has the advantage after taking pole for the race while Vettel was pipped to the front row by Kimi Raikkonen.

Valtteri Bottas is the Merc with all the work to do today, starting from ninth after incurring a five-place grid penalty while Max Verstappen will be hoping for a reprieve from his bad luck as he aims for a podium finish starting from fourth.

Many eyes will be on Daniel Ricciardo as he starts from 19th, after a turbo issue yesterday ended his participation in Q1, and how he will fare as he tries to slice his way through the field and finish in the points.

Whichever way it goes, the oldest race on the calendar is bound to be filled with excitement so sit back, relax and enjoy as the drama unfolds.
