Nigeria striker Ibrahim Shuaibu scored his third goal in five games as he helped his FK Haugesund side defeat Aalesund 2-0 in the Norwegian Eliteserien on Sunday.

The former Giwa FC striker has established himself in the Haugesund side after playing a peripheral role last season and has been their main striker this season.

The 20-year-old got his side ahead in the 55th minute with a typical goal poacher’s finish after a goalless first half.

Arne Andreassen made the points safe for Haugesund late in the game to give his side all the points at stake.

Shuaibu has played 15 times this season for the Norwegian side scoring five goals with two assists in the bag.
